New York: Hotel Taft, 1931. Hardcover. A complimentary copy, courtesy of New York's Hotel Taft, with an orange binding with an Art Deco image of the hotel. One of a number of titles of classic fiction in similar bindings apparently distributed by the hotel. The front fixed endpaper provides a combined ex-libris and advertisement for the Hotel Taft, while the rear endpaper advertises the salt water swimming pool in the Hotel St. George (also managed and operated by Bing & Bing). Undated, the hotel was renamed the Taft in 1931. Slight bumping to corners, pages faintly toned with age. 244pp. 7 x 4.75" Very Good. Item #2026-S58
