McCall's, 1956. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Two copies of Madeline's Christmas: the 1956 McCall's insert as the story was first published, and a first printing of the 1985 Viking hardcover with restored artwork. McCall's insert darkened with age, long closed tear to rear panel parallel to spine (please see photo). One page has a white stain, the facing page faint indentations as from someone writing on a paper placed above it. 5.25 x 7.5". Viking hardcover a first printing with a complete number line, very good with slight darkening to edges. Good. Item #2026-S190
