Three stories written in 1974 with an introduction by Didion reflecting on the process of creative writing, printed for the Friends of the Bancroft Library, number 26 in the series of keepsakes. Frontispiece portrait by Dominick Dunne, another by Mary Lloyd Estrin.
Laid in SIGNED invitation to the Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Bancroft Library of that year, announcing Didion as the guest speaker. Didion delivered a talk on "The California Woman", opening an exhibition of the Bancroft's collection of women writers. Signed and dated by Didion at the event. Both the keepsake and invitation were designed and printed by Lawton and Alfred Kennedy. Very Good. Item #2025-R216
