Carr" on the rear free endpaper. Laid in map of the grounds at Netley from the 1939 ordnance survey, with annotations in colored pencil. Hudson documents the work of the Special Navy Advance Group 56 to transform the massive Royal Victoria Hospital in Netley into the Navy Base Hospital No. 12 in preparation for the Normandy landings. Sturdy blue cloth binding with slight wear to corners and upper edge. Slight toning throughout. 75pp, 15 leaves of plates reproducing photographs, under the heading "SNAG SHOTS". 8 x 5.5" Very Good.
