San Francisco", while an embossed stamp to the rear endpaper reads "Book Department, The White House, San Francisco". An gift inscription, "From M. to E." is dated 1910. Cinquieme mille. Three-quarter binding with fading to spine, marbled paper, endpapers, top edge gilt. Toning to pages throughout. Very Good. Item #2023-P284
