Alexandar, arguing for roulette as a game to play at home ('In my opinion, Roulette is the King of all games'), before offering an 'explanation' of the technical and French vocabulary, an 'illustration of the table', an outline of the 'odds paid on the various chances', an description of 'Roulette at Monte Carlo' , description of twenty 'systems', and tables with the numbers for ten days of roulette in March 1901. Described on the title page as 'The first and only publication of the kind in the United States'. Lake is identified as the copyright holder, and the work attributed to him by Jessel 1046. Flexible boards, decorated, with a roulette wheel and cloth in red and black on the back cover. Scuffs and two small red marks to the front cover. [1-7] 8-64.
