This is a great showcase of the architects who originally designed the houses. In some cases the author is able to provide a comparison between the original house and its present day condition. The author and curator of this book was a former president of the Landmarks Preservation Advisory Board. The dust jacket has some light shelf-wear but otherwise pages are clean and unmarked.
