Yellow dolphin-patterned overlay over grey cloth boards, paper title to spine with red and black ink, rough cut pages. Signed by Edwin Grabhorn on the front endpaper, dated March 6, 1934. One of 550 copies. Full title indicating three sections: "The Spanish Occupation of California: Plan for the Establishment of a Government. Junta or Council Held at San Blas, May 16, 1768. Diaro of the Expeditions made to California." With an introduction and translation by Douglas S. Watson, also translated by Thomas Workman Temple II, and Frederick J. Teggart. Condition: Covers have very light shelfwear to head and tail of spine. Paper title fully intact on spine. Fold-out map is pristine, though one corner tends to creases upon closing the book.
