Vol. I: Frontispiece with tissue guard, full-title, copyright, dedication, list of illustrations, [vii]-viii contents, [ix]-x advertisement, [xi]-xlvi memoirs of Henry William Herbert, [11]-366pp. Vol II: Frontispiece with tissue guard, full-title, copyright, list of illustrations, [v]-vi contents, [7]-383pp. Condition: Cloth worn and torn at corners, 1 ½" tear to cloth at head of Vol. I front hinge. Heads and tails of both spines worn. Some notes, photos, and clippings about Frank Forester glued into the front endpapers by a previous owner who seems to have been passionate about the subject. Text is clean and unmarked. Illustrations are beautifully clean with tissue guards intact. Very Good / No Jacket. Item #2014-U1004
